Our Vertical Organic Garden in Action!

We planted our outdoor Vertical Organic Garden on the third week of April 2017, using starters purchased at our local plant nursery! Our Vertical Organic Garden started as a Greenhouse, according to directions for Climate Zone 7! We removed the Greenhouse cover the first week of May, and as of June 14, 2017, we had harvested approximately $60 worth of fresh vegetables and salad greens!
Our beautiful outdoor Vertical Organic Garden is growing:

Romaine, green, and red leaf lettuce

green and purple kale

Mesclun greens

Heirloom, Early Girl, and cherry tomatoes

snap peas

jalapeno, habanero and cayenne pepper

We planted our indoor Vertical Organic Garden on May 23, 2017, using seeds we germinated using a mix of rockwool and soil. On June 12, 2017 we transplanted the germinated seeds into our indoor Urban V.O.G. and added vegan, organic, fertilizer.
